How to integrate Slack with Maximiz

  1. 1- Where to Find the Slack Integration in Maximiz 

  1. Go to the Integrations page in Maximiz. 

  1. Go to the Integration page, click on "Add an Integration", select Slack, and then click "Connect to Slack" to begin the integration process. 





    1.    2- How to Authorize Your Slack Account       

    1. After clicking Connect to Slack, you'll be redirected to Slack's authentication page. 

    1. Click Allow to grant the necessary permissions for Maximiz to access your Slack workspace. 

     


























3- How to Choose a Slack Channel for Notifications 

  1. a. Once Slack is connected, go to the Data Sync page in Maximiz. 

  1. b. Select an existing Slack channel or create a new one directly from the interface. 

  1. c. Save your settings to start receiving notifications.  

    How the Integration Works 

    • What Triggers Messages to Slack: 

    • Whenever a new contact with a LinkedIn URL is added in Maximiz, a message is sent to the chosen Slack channel. 

    • This includes key details like the lead’s name, LinkedIn URL, and other relevant information. 

    • What Type of Messages Does the Bot Send: 

    •     The bot sends notifications when a lead is added. 

    • These messages contain actionable information, such as lead details, that allow your team to respond quickly. 

    Settings & Customization 

    • Can You Choose the Notification Channel? 

    • Yes, you can choose the notification channel when setting up Data Sync by going to the Data Sync page in Maximiz. You can either select an existing channel to send notifications to or create a new channel directly within the Maximiz interface and start sending messages to it. 

    • Can You Disable the Integration? 

    • Yes, if you no longer wish to receive Slack notifications, you can disconnect Slack from the Integrations page in Maximiz. 

    • Simply click Disconnect next to Slack to disable the integration.
