Maximiz enables the smooth integration of real-time resolved contacts with third-party tools, allowing you to kickstart your marketing campaigns. Harness these contacts for audience analysis and develop comprehensive business reports that inform your strategies, driving your market growth to new heights.
1. Go to the contacts in the left navigation
2. Now in the contacts page, click on the "Create contact sync" button
3. Side slider will be opened, which will ask you to choose from the already integrated platform
(If you are integrating Klaviyo with your Maximiz account for the first time, please follow steps 7 through 9).
4. When you click on the Klaviyo integration, a side slider will appear, prompting you to choose a sync filter. We offer five different types of filters for your convenience:
- All Contacts: This option syncs every type of contact to your integration.
Visitor: This status represents contacts who are only visiting the site, without adding items to the cart, viewing products, or making any purchases.
Abandoned Cart: This status applies to contacts who added products to their cart but abandoned it before completing the purchase.
View Product: This indicates contacts who have viewed one or more products available on the website.
Converted Sales: This refers to contacts who have made a successful purchase.

5. The next slider will open, allowing you to select an existing list from Klaviyo for syncing your contacts. Alternatively, you can create a new list by clicking on “Create New List” in the dropdown menu. You also have the option to add tags for better organization.
6. The next slider will guide you through mapping your data fields to the Klaviyo list. Certain fields, including Email, Phone Number, First Name, Last Name, Gender, Age Range, Job Title, and Location, are mandatory and cannot be deleted. If there are other fields you don’t need, you can delete them by clicking the delete button. After you finish mapping, clicking the export button will sync all the mapped fields in real time with your selected list.
7.If you’re integrating Klaviyo with your Maximiz account for the first time, clicking the “Create Contact Sync” button will open a side slider- "Choose from integrated platform". In this slider, click the “+” button to reveal a list of available integration platforms. Search for Klaviyo and select it to proceed.

8. Now you will be asked for the API Key for your Klaviyo account
a. You can find this API Key in your Klaviyo dashboard. You can click your personal details like Name in the bottom left and then click Settings.
b. Click on the “API keys” tab and then press the “Create API Key” button.
c. You need to give some name to the API key- for e.g. ‘Maximiz’ then you can assign for the full access permissions to Lists and Profiles, and read access permissions to Metrics, Events, and Templates for your Klaviyo key and finally press the “Create” button
d. You can copy the API key to your clipboard.
e. Go back to the Maximiz dashboard
f. Add the API key and click Next

9. Next side slider with the Suppression Sync feature, you can opt to suppress contacts that you already have in your Klaviyo account, preventing additional charges for these existing contacts. Newly added contacts will be automatically suppressed each day. If you prefer not to suppress any contacts, just keep the suppression sync disabled.
To complete the contact sync, follow the steps 4 to 6.
